Code Foils R series complete foil kit with high modulus mast

We are particularly proud to release the long-awaited R series front wings. These wings were designed to win the M20 race. Not only did we achieve that, but the versatility of the R series also led to a podium finish in light conditions at Hood River. You’ll notice the strength and stiffness for their aspect ratio. The construction is rock solid, and the sensational and effortless glide of the R series is sure to impress.

The 860R High Modulus and 770R High Modulus were both used by World Champion James Casey to win major races in Hawaii in 2023.

The 860R High Modulus won the Molokai 2 Oahu Downwind World Championship.

The 770R High Modulus won Paddle Imua, a shorter, sprint style race.

The R series are offered in two larger sizes as well now, the 960R and the 1075R. They are both an incredible addition to any foiler’s quiver, set to be very well received by learners for their user-friendly nature. For the experienced rider, these bigger foils enable foiling in almost windless conditions, leveraging even minimal ocean energy for remarkable rides.

The team has worked hard on its construction, creating a super lightweight front wing with phenomenal stiffness for its span. If you are looking for a wing that will let you go fast and far in downwind conditions, then the 860R High Modulus or 770R High Modulus is the wing for you.

• The High Modulus R Series are made with High Modulus carbon and are of the build quality users will be familiar with from other Code Foils products.
• These wings are designed for a wide speed range and efficient pumping. They are not as manoeuvrable as some other wings, but they glide forever and still turn. We call them our “longboard foils” because of their long, stable design.
• The R Series High Modulus have an incredible low end for their size. James Casey demonstrated this by winning the M2O with a flatwater start and a challenging finish in upwind conditions. Ben Tardrew also used the 860R to battle for a win and end up on the podium in a nearly windless Hood River challenge against the best in the world.
• Please note that the R series front wings are not designed to be jumped. Jumping the R Series front wings will void warranty.
  The larger 960 and 1075 offer enhanced performance for lighter wind conditions and serve as a gateway for those learning downwind foiling and linking bumps
• The 600R is now the smallest in the R series, engineered for incredible speed for our advanced Code riders. It's designed specifically for racing and mastering big ocean conditions in downwind scenarios, delivering top performance. This wing has been constructed with a focus on achieving stiffness in a small foil— truly engineered to be stiff!
• The 1250R is the largest R foil in our range. It's a game-changer for riders looking for maximum glide, efficiency, and versatility.

The R Series tail offers superior stiffness for its aspect ration and is available in three sizes. This high aspect tail is designed for enhanced efficiency and glide in quite a compact form. It's built to be smooth and reliable, giving foilers confidence and works across all disciplines.

These high-aspect-ratio tails mark our first expansion of rear wings in our range. James used the 120R in the M20 to secure victory in 2023.

They offer incredible glide when paired with both the S and R series front wing. Despite their small area, the aspect ratio delivers exceptional efficiency and performance.

When designing our fuselage our main goals were strength, stiffness and absolutely zero movement in the joins. We also wanted the setup to be adaptable so we have made the fuse in 4 different lengths and provided the option to change tail wings simply and quickly to find the perfect setup for each rider.

We offer four lengths of fuselages to enhance the versatility of our range. In addition to the medium, we provide an 'extra small', a 'small', and a 'large' fuselage.

These are constructed with a 30mm incremental difference. The smaller sizes allow for a higher cadence pump and add even more maneuverability to the range, whereas the large fuselage provides greater pitch stability, making it ideal for beginners.

Many downwind foilers prefer the large fuse for its additional stability and slower cadence pump. All sizes feature the same unique joining system and tail mounting surface as our medium fuselage.

Our fuselage is designed for total stiffness and versatility in mind, giving you the ability to customise your setup with four different fuse lengths.

Add to this the ability to change your tail wing and to shim to suit your unique style and feel.
A unique joining system providing a join with zero movement!

Riders can mount their favourite tails to the code setup if they wish for more versatility and experimentation.

The XS fuse is uniquely Designed for tighter turns and enhanced manoeuvring, this fuselage is perfect for advanced riders. We recommend pairing it with larger foils to maximize your maneuverability and responsiveness.

If you're winging though, match it with your current set up to make it loose, lively and keep you in the pocket.

For the mast design we really wanted to prioritize stiffness and predictability.

We did this through extending blends and making a deep mast to fuse connection eliminating any unwanted movement.

Combined with a very efficient foil section this mast gives maximum glide and pumps with no loss of energy from unwanted wobbles.
