Our signature yet subtle aero nose reduces windage, cuts through chop, hides volume, and helps with water starts without sacrificing overall balance. With redesigned bottom contours, rail transitions, and volume distribution, the result is a compact, stable, yet efficient and playful foil board that remains balanced and versatile. The Drifter 5 has been redesigned around the idea that a blend between glide and stability unlocks foiling progression and more days on the water. This sleekest Drifter to date improves take off by offering low-end stability to settle into your stance from kneeling to standing and helps the board stay planing, planted, and controlled when conditions are messy. Using our signature yet subtle blend of aero nose and rails improve airflow, reduces windage and hides volume while the standing zone remains direct, supportive, and stable. Vent Plug: Solid State vent plug. Foil Assist: Integrated 2.4 GHz tuned connectivity windows. Handle: Carry handles on boards 70 liters and larger.
Construction
Dual Fusion construction blends a featherweight EPS core with a higher density shell for a lighter, responsive, yet durable internal structure. 10 to 15% lighter and stronger than standard EPS blanks. Biaxial carbon with targeted unidirectional carbon patching and S-glass reinforcements throughout. Balance of stiffness and strength for everyday use. Integrated fiberglass windows tuned to 2.4 GHz for Foil Assist connectivity.

Subtle double concave displacement hull blends into tri-plane bottom chines. Flatter hull contours offer stability and a softer, more predictable feel on touchdowns. Harder defined tail chines and edges release instantly for faster take off.
Rocker
Reduced entry rocker and flatter tail rocker line for faster acceleration and earlier lift off. Moderate nose curve to match wave shape, handle steeper drops, and stay composed in surf. Smooth recovery in light wind and weak swell, stable feel in messy conditions, cleaner rebounds on touchdowns with less sticking.
Rails
Almond shaped rails through the nose creating aero efficiency. Transition to boxier rails through the midsection for a more supported feel underfoot. Taper into a beveled tri plane tail for clearance in carves and faster water release. Improved water flow, reduced drag, and more controlled rebounds on jumps and touchdowns.
Pads and Straps
Refined lightweight slotted traction. Maximum grip at reduced weight. Reduced thickness for improved board feel and control. Includes Adjustable MFC front and rear internally adjustable foot straps with hardware. Surf-style insert pattern with slight offset options for centered, balanced directional riding, reducing heel side bias. Closer 1/2" strap insert increments offer more adjustability.
Track Boxes
New 14" Universal Track System. In house designed 14 inch reinforced foil specific track boxes. Puncture resistant elevated channels for durability and compatibility across mast lengths and hardware types.
