Flex characteristics:

In general a stiff board will promote faster riding and better pop, whereas a soft board provides a more forgiving and comfortable ride. Flex is the amount the board can bend lengthways from tip to tip.

A low rocker will generally make a board faster and earlier planing, whereas a high rocker is smooth riding through choppy water, comfortable and forgiving
