Yow Meadow Julia Schimautz 28"x9" Artist Series Surf Cruiser

The Meadow 28” is one of those boards you would take with you everywhere.

Short in length, but generously wide, making it great for riders with bigger feet or anyone looking for that extra stability. Featuring original artwork by Austrian graphic designer and print maker, Julia Schimautz.

An ode to imperfection: to preserve the feeling and aesthetics of risography prints we did not correct any of the print’s imperfections. As a result, the Meadow Julia Schimautz presents a series of little details like printing marks and incomplete prints that gives an authentic human touch.

The Meadow features a Medium concave, kicktail and a short and slightly steep nose. Also featuring wheel wells to reduce the risk of wheel-bite. The shape, inspired by some of the 80s skateboards, features a long and wide tail and some extra width making it a very comfortable cruiser for the everyday commute. Mounted on our new patented Legasee trucks in 139mm, which feature a bigger turning radius than standard skate trucks giving you a nice surfy feeling, while letting you push with ease. It also mounts our new Lurra wheels 60×40 80a, which are fast and grippy enough for an all-terrain usage.

All our decks are constructed with 7 plies of hard rock maple – responsibly sourced from areas under a forest conservation law in the Great lakes aiming to save, maintain and regenerate the biodiversity of nature – pressed with a water-base glue. All our trucks are casted in the Basque Country and follow the REACH regulation, ensuring the protection of human health and the environment. Our wheels are made in-house using a Super High Rebound formula with top-quality urethane.
