This is the shortboard that fans of the Dominator have been asking Dan Mann to build for years, designed to go toe to toe with your favorite performance shortboard. The all-new Dominator Pro shape is designed for surfers who have either progressed their skill set and want a more performance version of the Dominator 2. Built with Helium Core with Fiberglass Lamination.
The Dominator Pro shape works well in a variety of conditions, from knee-high to overhead, but it really comes alive in the chest-high and above range. It wants to sit tight in the pocket and be in punchy waves with some curve to them: small punchy beach breaks to head-high and overhead pockety waves.
The Dominator Pro is an evolution of the Dominator 2.0, with a lot of similarities including the subtle hip in the tail and round-ish squash tail, but it's outline is more pulled in, volume more refined, and less forgiving than the 2.0 and offering more on the performance side (but not quite that of Dan's FRK). The rocker on the Dominator Pro is true to the style of rocker on the original Dominator, but with a moderate increase in curve from nose to tail. The bottom contour's concave configuration is a near match of the Dominator 2.0's concave, with slightly more single concave under the front foot in the Dominator Pro, flowing into a double barrel concave through the fins that transitions to a vee out the tip of the tail. It's for really good surfers or good surfers who want to up their game or want a bit of forgiveness compared to a pure performance shape.

Use the size chart above as your guide — volume (litres) is the most reliable indicator for fit. Beginners and heavier surfers generally benefit from more volume, while experienced surfers can ride lower volumes for greater performance. When in doubt, go slightly larger for everyday waves.

For small surface dings, use a solar-cure ding repair kit, available at most surf shops. Sand smooth once cured. For larger or deeper damage, consult a professional shaper or board repair specialist. Always repair dings as soon as possible to prevent water from entering the foam core.
Rinse your board with fresh water after each session. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use, as UV and heat can damage the foam and resin. Store your board in a padded bag away from heat sources. Repair any dings or cracks promptly with a solar-cure repair kit to prevent water ingress into the core.
