The Zapple S is Appletree’s next-generation trench board, developed specifically for advanced riders, smaller riders, and wave-focused foilers looking to push their performance in surf conditions.

Inspired by the original Zapple and refined alongside the AppleSlice Prone, the Zapple S is a compact and ultra-responsive foil board built exclusively in performance-oriented sizes. It delivers precision, control, and direct foil sensitivity for riders who demand maximum performance in steep and technical waves.

Fusion or Gen2 Compatibility

Boards in stock are compatible as standard with the Gen2 Foil Drive system.

There is also the option to make the board compatible with the newer Foil Drive Fusion system, contact us in case of need.

The Zapple S was created in response to demand from advanced riders seeking a smaller and more responsive alternative to the original Zapple. It is better suited for foil-assisted takeoffs, tighter turning arcs, and smaller foil control in steeper waves.

This is not a beginner board and is not designed for large foil setups. Instead, it excels when paired with a Foil Drive system, providing the additional push required to get started in waves rather than flat water.

With its compact dimensions and performance-driven design, the Zapple S enables riders to draw radical lines, access otherwise unridable waves, and maximize wave count during each session.
