Every detail of the ROGER ensures seamless performance and intuitive use.
The wing, bar, and bridles are color-coded, enabling riders to quickly identify the leading and trailing edges. The bridle layout minimizes the chance of tangling, but if a tangle does occur, our 3-Point Bridle System allows for easy untangling. The bar features a central hole through which the center bridles pass, attaching to a leash or harness.
This setup simplifies depowering and redeployment.

Important notices:
How difficult is foiling with a parawing compared to wingfoiling?
Launching and generating speed uses more technique, but if you’re an experienced foiler, you will quickly learn to parawing. The parawing wing flies and has power in minimal wind, so you can easily take off in light winds.
Does the parawing go upwind just as well as a wing?
Yes, the parawing performs well going upwind, though the technique is slightly different from using an inflatable wing.
What board size or type is best?
To begin with, we recommend a downwind board or a mid-length board with sufficient volume (approx. 10-20 litres above your body weight). A length of 5'7‘ to 7'0’ is often ideal.
Is the size/wind range of the parawing comparable to that of a wing?
The parawing generally has better performance in light winds but slightly less high-wind capability. Overall, the sail size to wind range is very similar between the two.
Do you need to use a leash?
In light winds, using a leash is optional. In strong winds, however, it’s recommended to attach a leash to the parawing to prevent it from flying away if released. The leash connects to the ENSIS Safety System, which quickly collapses the wing when tension is applied, reducing power immediately.
Do you use a harness?
A harness is not absolutely necessary, but is recommended for upwind adventures or longer rides. Without a harness, you remain more flexible, but your arms get tired more quickly.
Can you trim the Parawing?
No you cannot, however, the ENSIS ROGER was designed to stay in control in strong and gusty wind conditions.
