X-Form Precision Molded Technology

At the heart of the Midlength Mk II lies Armstrong’s all-new X-Form construction. Developed in Armstrong’s purpose-built manufacturing facility, this advanced molding process creates a board with exceptional precision, strength and consistency.

Unlike traditional constructions that can soften and fatigue over time, X-Form permanently locks in the board’s rocker line, rails and bottom contours during the molding process. The result is a board that remains stronger, stiffer and more responsive throughout its lifespan while maintaining an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio.

The thinner X-Form profile also creates a more direct connection to the foil, providing cleaner feedback, improved control and a highly connected riding experience.

Balanced, Responsive and Predictable

On the water, the Midlength Mk II feels incredibly composed and intuitive. The optimized stiffness profile and refined shape create a direct connection between rider and foil, delivering more confidence at speed and greater control during critical maneuvers.

The new bottom design features a refined double concave transitioning into a subtle V shape. This generates early lift for easier take-offs while significantly improving touchdown recovery. When the board reconnects with the water, it releases quickly and efficiently instead of sticking or tracking, allowing riders to return to flight with minimal loss of speed.

Shallower chines and a flatter rear section further reduce drag and resistance, improving acceleration and overall efficiency.

Refined Midlength Shape

The Midlength Mk II features a thinner profile made possible by the X-Form construction. This reduces unwanted touchdowns while improving responsiveness and board-to-foil connection.

The optimized volume distribution allows the board to sit lower in the water while maintaining excellent stability. This creates a more connected feel underfoot and improves control in all conditions.

The surf-style squash tail enhances stability during starts and low-speed riding. By maintaining parallel rails further through the tail, it improves water flow, acceleration and take-off efficiency while providing a stable platform when positioning yourself before launch.

Forward Geometry Foil Track

Armstrong’s Forward Geometry foil track system positions the foil further forward within the board. This reduces swing weight, improves responsiveness and creates a more balanced and connected riding experience while remaining compatible with virtually any foil system.

Enhanced Deck Grip

The redesigned deck pad improves grip and control while reducing overall weight. Dual foot arch bars, rear foot wedges and foil track indicators provide intuitive foot placement and improved control during progression, foil assist riding and long sessions on the water.
