The Gem is a collaboration between Dan Mann and 3x World Longboard Champion, Taylor Jensen. Earlier this year Taylor asked Dan to consider a ‘one board in the trunk’ option for longboarders who want both trim and turns - he was essentially asking Dan for a design that would land somewhere between his TJ Pro and his TJ Everyday. Built with Helium Core with Timbertek Lamination.
This is Taylor Jensen and Dan Mann's one-board quiver longboard, the one longboard you'd keep in your trunk that can do it all. Ride as a Single fin in small waves for traditional trim and nose rides, and switch up the configuration to Two Plus One in bigger waves to hit the lip, draw some turns, and have a lot of fun.
The Gem offers a bit more performance than the Special T, with a deep double concave in the tail to a deep single concave in the nose to help keep water flowing and increase speed. The diamond tail shortens the rail line for more pivot, but still has lots of hold and drive. It also does feature a hard edge, for that higher level performance with a bit more spice.

| 9'1" | 22 1/4" | 3" | 67.1L |

Use the size chart above as your guide — volume (litres) is the most reliable indicator for fit. Beginners and heavier surfers generally benefit from more volume, while experienced surfers can ride lower volumes for greater performance. When in doubt, go slightly larger for everyday waves.
Check the product specifications for the exact fin system and compatible fin templates.
This board is built with Helium Core with Timbertek Lamination.
For small surface dings, use a solar-cure ding repair kit, available at most surf shops. Sand smooth once cured. For larger or deeper damage, consult a professional shaper or board repair specialist. Always repair dings as soon as possible to prevent water from entering the foam core.
Rinse your board with fresh water after each session. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use, as UV and heat can damage the foam and resin. Store your board in a padded bag away from heat sources. Repair any dings or cracks promptly with a solar-cure repair kit to prevent water ingress into the core.
