"The Vortex's high-aspect shape is similar to our pure big air machine, the Edge. While the Vortex also has a lot of depower and is awesome for any sort of boosting, the difference is that it has more handling response for megaloop performance — and even double and triple loops if you dare. The 3-strut design is a great base for agility which we combined with light weight materials and the unbeatable stiffness of the Aluula airframe. The Vortex feels assured in strong and gusty winds, while also injecting a huge amount of performance for those tricky light-wind sessions. Everything feels like it's working seamlessly as one block — and that's why you'll never lose connection to the kite."

The Vortex V2 is designed for intermediate to advanced riders looking to progress in big air and kite loops. Each size delivers superb low-end power, letting you get jumping sooner in lighter winds. Its predictable, forgiving character makes it ideal for confidently landing your first kite loops, right through to pushing mind-blowing double and triple megaloop combinations.
The Vortex V2 is available in 11 sizes from 5m to 17m. Size selection depends on your weight and the typical wind conditions at your local spot. Use the wind range table above as a guide — all values are based on an average rider weight of 80 kg. The new 17m is specifically designed for those who want to push twin-tip tricks in foiling-only conditions.
Aluula is an ultra-high-performance composite material that is significantly lighter and stiffer than standard Dacron. This combination translates directly into faster turning, more responsive steering and better performance at both ends of the wind range — critical for megaloop and big air performance.
While the Vortex V2 is purpose-built for big air and kite loops, its range of use scores show strong versatility: 10/10 for Advanced, Freeride and Big Air; 8/10 for Intermediate and Light Wind. It scores 3/10 for Freestyle Unhooked and 2/10 for Race, so it is primarily a jump and loop specialist.
Rinse the kite with fresh water after every salt water session. Dry fully in the shade before packing — never store the kite damp. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when not in use. Inspect bridle lines, bladders and strut connections before each session. Store in the included Water Kite Technical Bag in a cool, dry place away from sharp objects.
