More info

The Chiba 30” is the smallest of the Classic Series family.

Its shape design is inspired by the Mini Simmons, the surfboard Bob Simmons invented in the 50s, to provide you with the same feelings you would get when surfing one of those small fun boards Mini-Simmons are.

Although the board is one of the smallest in our catalogue, its super wide deck makes it feel

like a 34” board. It is designed with a medium sized wheelbase (18”), giving you more stability and increasing the turn radius for longer and smoother turns. Molded in a low concave for an authentic retro feeling, it is mounted with the Meraki (S5) system and 66x51mm 80A (mid) wheels for a smoother ride in most types of terrain.

Nice flat board

It is what I wanted but and this is what annoys me about all Surfskate companies is that they never send you any instructions. The Chiba floats and flies under your feet so it's very wobbly. Lovely design and heavier than my Carver given that its a smaller board. Kiteworld were awesome. Would buy again but again they need to do better with their packaging as the box was too big and not enough bubble wrap. Thankfully no damage to the board.
