North Flex LX TT Binding 2023

Cushioning. Support. Shock absorption. The all-new 2023 Flex LX have a sense of luxury that speaks to the perfect balance between performance and design.

Engineered to help absorb and disperse impact after gravity-defying boosts, with triple-density dynamic support technology to protect your heels and guarantee softer landings. We’ve added structure and stability with a more contoured footbed and ramped chassis for improved fit and increased lateral support. Outer angled heel inserts ensure your foot rolls properly, providing a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air.

The GripFlex lightweight, rubberized EVA inner maintains grip underfoot when wet, while the fine grip pattern helps keep you locked in on various angles, preventing your foot from sliding out of the binding. We’ve refined the adjustable injection-Velcro top flap to provide a strong yet flexible hold.

The strap has a soft foam and KnitFlex seamless lining with split-Velcro fastenings. These provide custom comfort and allow your foot to shuffle more easily into a locked-in position. For your ultimate fit, ensure there's enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the strap doesn't slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot.

The Flex LX are compatible with both our new 2023 FlipTech centreline and 2020-2022 offline TwinTip mounting systems. Industry-standard screw spacings ensure they can also be fitted to other boards.

• Maximum Shock Absorption
  The triple density dynamic support technology-absorbs and disperses impact after gravity-defying boosts, protects your heels and makes for softer landings. High-density impact pads protect the heel from board contact on big landings, and are dual-moulded with a medium-density layer for serious impact protection. Another softer insert pod provides strategically-placed comfort under the ball of the foot.

The footpad is ergonomically angled to encourage optimised weight distribution and knee alignment, helping to minimise common rider injuries. Outer angled heel inserts give increased lateral support, helping to ensure your foot rolls properly to provide a stable landing and protecting your knees and ankles when loading up to release into the air.
• Ramped toe bar
  The ramped toe bar has been engineered with an angled tactile edge to get purchase on and prevent your foot from slipping out during high rotation tricks. We've lowered the toebar a little on the FLex LX to provide a better fit for all different foot types.
• Custom comfort
  4 new sizes for a more personalised fit in S, M, L, XL. To ensure the right fit, check that there's enough room for your toes to stretch and flex, and make sure the adjustable top strap doesn't slip or rub. The upper should feel secure, but not too tight, and the footbed should match the shape of your foot.
• Adjustable top-loading strap
  For quick setup and a perfect fit for all sizes. Strap Adjusters allow comfortable foot positioning, a secure feel and use of the toe bar. Simply drop the inner and outer Strap Adusters into the baseplate from the top, move forward or backward then pull up into your desired position. For a more locked-in feeling set the inner two Strap Adjusters further apart. The rear eyelets have an outward kick to ensure your foot never comes in contact with the edge of the eyelet on hard landings.
• KnitFlex seamless topside comfort
  Our lightweight and responsive seamless KnitFlex strap inners are engineered for topside comfort and support. The Knitflex fabric is pre-tensioned and laminated to the conforming foam inner, so it can create a 3D-curve without any bunching or creasing, and there's no inner stitching to rub on your foot. The soft foam allows vour foot to shuffle more easilv into a locked-in position.
• Lighter weight
  Small and Medium sizes are 22% lighter and the larger sizes are 14% lighter because we've reduced the footprint.
• Precision velcro straps reduce
  water lift
  Iniection velcro decreases sand retention and extended top flaps increase hold and reduce water lift. The split inner-velcro design ensures a custom fit on top of the feet for all shapes, sizes and rider styles. Position the velcro straps wider apart for a more fixed feel, closer together for easy board-offs. Our fully re-engineered top flap gives a strong hold without compromising strap flexibility.
• Easy stance adjustment
  Easy stance adjustment to suit all riders. Our Flex LX mounting system uses standardised M6x16mm screw hardware to fasten the binding to the board in various positions.
• Compatible with other boards
  The oval fastening hole allows for both 6". 6.5" industry standard screw spacings, which makes the Flex LX compatible with most TwinTip brands.
• FlipTech Mounting
  For 2023, all of the North TwinTip boards our new FlipTech Mounting System, with centreline inserts. This means if you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around and you've got a shiny new heelside rail again.
